Tired of Being Told to "Just Rest"?
You're active, motivated, and ready to keep training—but nagging pain keeps holding you back. Sound familiar?

Candace R
"I had negative experiences in the past with physical therapists who took a hands-off approach. In just a few visits with Dr. Jackie, I started to feel a noticeable difference. She is very involved and is there along the way with you. She's transforming lives!"
Ricardo Accioly
"I can't remember how many times I've recommended Jackie to people who were advised to have surgery or to stop working out completely. She has a remarkable ability to collaborate with your doctors, ensuring you can keep moving as much as possible."

Sara St. Gelais, a Vermont native, is deeply passionate about both her roots in the outdoors and her career in healthcare. Her educational background merges seamlessly with her love for outdoor activities, enabling her to apply her understanding of athletics and sport-specific movement patterns to her work with clients, aiding them in returning to their beloved activities.
Since 2013, Sara has been a dedicated outpatient physical therapist, serving her community with empathy and expertise. She thrives on fostering meaningful relationships with her clients while addressing a spectrum of issues, from sports injuries to chronic impairments and post-surgical recovery. Away from her professional endeavors, Sara finds joy in spending time with her husband, two children, and dogs, embracing the beauty of the outdoors through activities like snowboarding, hiking, kayaking, and camping. With a commitment to holistic wellness and a love for her home state's natural wonders, Sara embodies a balanced approach to life and healthcare. Heidi Noonan, PT, CSCS
Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist
Advanced Dry Needling Specialist
Having owned a very successful Physical Therapy clinic herself for over 30 years, Heidi is now an integral part of StowePTP! She has an extensive coaching background in skiing, and paired with her personal experience, this provides her with the skills that are necessary to return high level athletes to their peak performance level.
In October of 2015, Heidi was seriously hurt during a kiteboarding accident leaving her temporarily paralyzed from the neck down. She has had a remarkable recovery, with residual permanent issues, but has been able to resume all previous activities and work. This experience provided Heidi with more empathy for life-changing diagnoses and knowledge of how to return to a prior level of functioning.
In addition, she's just plain ole' badass and Stowe PTP is lucky to have this Stowe legend aboard. Come and meet her if you haven't already.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral to see a physical therapist in Avondale Estates?
No! In Georgia, physical therapists have direct access, which means you do not need a referral to be evaluated and treated for most conditions. For dry needling specifically, a doctor's script is required. You can book your consultation directly with us and get started right away.
Do you accept insurance for physical therapy?
We have chosen not to participate with insurance companies so we can provide the hands-on care, attention, and programming you deserve without insurance limitations. However, we can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Our transparent pricing means you'll know your costs upfront with no surprises.
What should I expect during my first physical therapy visit?
Your initial evaluation is one hour and includes range of motion testing, strength assessments, movement screens, a physical therapy diagnosis, and a personalized rehab plan. We'll also incorporate manual therapy techniques as needed. Come dressed in comfortable activewear—you'll be moving around quite a bit!
How long will I need physical therapy?
This depends on your specific needs, goals, and the plan we create during your evaluation. We offer different programs based on varying lengths of time and frequency of visits. During your consultation, we'll discuss realistic timelines and what it will take to get you back to doing what you love.
What makes Spectrum Performance different from other physical therapy clinics near me?
We specialize in working with athletes and active adults who want to keep training while addressing pain. Unlike traditional PT clinics that may tell you to stop your sport, we meet you where you are and progressively load your body to build strength and resilience. Our one-on-one, hour-long sessions give you the attention and customization you need to get real results.
