Hip Pain Is Keeping You Out of the Game
You've tried rest. You've tried pushing through. Neither worked — and now the things you love most are slipping away.
You're Told to Just Rest
Pain Keeps Cycling Back
You Don't Know What's Actually Wrong
Generic advice to "stop what you're doing" ignores your goals. Rest alone won't fix a hip impingement, labral tear, or groin strain — and every week off the platform or trail feels like a loss.
You feel better for a few days, then the hip pain returns the moment you train. Without addressing the root cause — mobility, strength, or movement mechanics — nothing truly changes.
Hip pain near Decatur can stem from FAI, labral issues, IT band syndrome, or muscle imbalances. Without a thorough assessment, you're guessing — and guessing costs time, training, and results.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a doctor's referral to start physical therapy at Spectrum Performance?

No. Georgia allows direct access to physical therapy, which means you can schedule your first appointment without a referral. Simply book a free 15-minute discovery call and we'll map out your next best step.

Do you accept health insurance?

Spectrum Performance operates as an out-of-network provider with transparent, flat-rate pricing. This means your care is never dictated by insurance limitations — you get the full hour, every time, without restrictions on the number of visits or treatments we can provide.

Will I have to stop training while I recover from hip pain?

Not if we can help it. Our entire model is built around keeping you active during treatment. We modify, load, and progress your training around your recovery — so you stay in the gym, on the trail, or on the field as much as possible.

How long are sessions, and who will I see?

Every session is a full 60 minutes, one-on-one with your doctor — either Dr. Jackie Varnum or Dr. Sebastian Gil. No aides. No handoffs. The same clinician, every visit.

Do you offer telehealth appointments?

Yes. Virtual physical therapy and consultation services are available for clients who cannot visit the clinic in person. Ask about telehealth options when you book.

What types of hip conditions do you treat?

We treat the full range of hip and lower extremity conditions including hip impingement (FAI), labral tears, IT band syndrome, groin pain, hamstring strains, and more. We also offer running form assessments and movement screens to identify the root cause of your pain.
